Almost there!

2 Days till my students are on Summer Vacation!! I think they are soo ready to be done! Out of my class of 14, which is already really small, I had 8 today! It was soo quiet!! There was 4 boys and 4 girls, so we did some friendly competition, like who could clean up their table the fastest the boys or girls. It was so cute to watch them to work. I was really blessed in my first year for the little lovebugs in my classroom. Don't get me wrong they gave me so much attitude throughout the year, but in the end of the day they would always give me a hug goodbye. Teaching in the area I teach in my students don't always have it easy, but they try so hard and are so excited to learn. We did writing today on what they want to learn in 3rd grade, and bless their hearts I had a few write division, and even one write physics. I have no idea where that idea came from, but more power to him! Another section of the writing was "What will my 3rd grade teacher think of me.." Most of them wrote funny, nice, smart, but I did have one of the boys wrote that she will think he is a star. It was SOOOO precious!

One of the days last week, we had a bubbles and chalk party! It was soo much fun! I have never seen my kids so into bubbles! It was like they had never played with them before! I just loved watching their faces light up, and it was adorable watching them chase the bubbles! Below is a couple of pictures of them having a BLAST!
